Isn't it precious? It is so dainty. I love it!
Can you do it? Yes, you can! (I couldn't resist!)
I have seen these cute little bird nests everywhere & couldn't resist trying it myself. This is what I used:
Kitchen Scissors (see I told you could use them for everything)
craft wire
pearls
curly pliers (but I would say they are optional)
Cut a length of wire.
(the length I used was from my finger tip to my nose with my hand stretched out -I know, I am precise)
Put 3 pearls on with about 3 inches of wire sticking out.
Roll it up and cross the wires .
Twist it down to the end of the short piece of wire.
Roll the wire around about 5 or 6 times.
Weave the end of the wire through different places around the nest.
Don't forget to go through the middle sometimes.
Then....voila'!
(My sweet Lulu [daughter] told me how to spell that - I was spelling it Whoila)
Thanks, Lulu - I love you & am glad you are so smart!
That will probably be an earring soon. It is tiny & so cute. I think I am gonna try to make one with a clothes hanger!
I also made a pendant & a ring. I can post those tutorials, too - if ya'll want to see them!
Would this make a good blog giveaway?
What do you think?
What a neat idea! It would make a cute accent on one of my homemade cards - have to keep this in mind!
