Crochet Dishcoth Pattern #1

I have been crocheting dishcloths quite a bit here lately.  For some reason I have a hard time sticking to one pattern or one craft, or one recipe, or one style...
I like to try them all out to see if I like one better than another.  I also tend to be obsessive.  I can't make just one, I have to make 50!

Here is one that I like pretty well.  It has a tight weave and feels a little more sturdy than some others I have crocheted before.

The quality of that picture is ridiculous. I was too lazy to set up a cute photo and just snapped it right on the arm of my chair.  Unfortunately, the rest of the pictures for my crochet dishcloth series will be just as bad as this one!

It measures about 10 inches and is a beginner pattern.
Anywhoo… is the pattern:

Chain 34

1 SC in 2nd chain from hook, 1 sc in each chain till end of row
Chain 1, 1 SC in each chain to end of row
Repeat last row until dishcloth is square, or rectangle
(or size you prefer).
If you want to make a little ring on the corner for hanging it (or swinging it around your finger), chain 8 and join to last single crochet.
Fasten off.

Easy Peasy!

I would love to see yours if you make one!  It might get me back in the mood to make 50 more!
